For our Global and Historical Studies course Freedom and Movement in the Transatlantic World we were given the task of creating a digital project that explored a specific course relevant topic. We kept it modern by connecting freedom to social media and activism, with a focus on the Black Lives Matter movement that began on Facebook and Twitter. The map above follows the movement while also laying out some important definitions that relate to the project.
